What data do we collect?
We collect the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, email address)
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Heritage Research with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Send us a Registration email, submit a proposal, or contact us with a query related to the project
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- Process your submission and respond to queries appropriately
- Email you with further updates or information on the project
How do we store your data?
We securely store your data using Vercel's servers. Further details can be found here.
If you submitted a proposal to the competition, we will keep your name and email address for two years after the close of the competition (15 September 2020). If you provided your data as part of an enquiry to the website, we will keep your name and email address for two years after the date of enquiry. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by ending the Main Agreement with one.com.
Communication
We will only use your email to contact you in relation to the project. You can opt out of any communications from us at any time.
What are your data protection rights?
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete any information you believe is incomplete.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
